Stafford, James B., Buffalo, was born in Dublin, Ireland, of Scotch-Irish parentage, and has spent his life
in Buffalo from childhood. He commenced his career as a boy in one of the leading grocery houses of the city, and
subsequently became proprietor of the famous Fulton Market, which he conducted from 1873 to 1892. He now devotes
his entire time to his private business interests.
