Biography of John G. Miller, M.D.


Miller, John G., M. D., Lancaster. was born in Sheldon, Wyoming county, N. Y., July 4, 1655. He attended the public schools until thirteen years of age, when he entered the Aurora Academy which he attended for four full years and was graduated from there at the age of seventeen. He then began the study of medicine, entering the University of Buffalo, from which he graduated in 1876, and in the fall entered the Bellevue Hospital Medical College of New York, from which he was graduated in 1877. May 1, 1877, he located at Lancaster and has been in active practice ever since. He is a member of the Erie County Medical Society and has been for several years health officer of the village and town.
