March, H. G., Tonawanda, was born in Painesville, Ohio. His father was a native of New Hampshire, and was engaged
in the mercantile business through life. Henry G. March was educated in the common schools and the academy of Oakfield,
and followed civil engineering In 1870 he came to Tonawanda and engaged in the timber business, in which he still
continues. In 1864 he married Catharine, daughter of Philip Walters.
