Kam, John, jr., one of Buffalo's most enterprising and progressive business men, was horn in that city, April
15, 1871, and attended St. Mary's School and Canisius College. After completing his schooling he entered his father's
malt house to learn the trade, and afterward as bookkeeper, and in 1889 was admitLed to membership in the firm
of John Kam Malting Company. In June, 1896, he was married to Louise V., daughter of William Simon of Buffalo.
