Biography of Henry J. Hart


Hart, Henry J., East Hamburg, p. o. Webster's Corners, was born in Buffalo, N. Y., May 16, 1853; he was educated in the public schools and is now a farmer and market gardener. October 19, 1871, he married Annie K. Treeby of Buffalo, and they have six children: Minnie E. (now Mrs. William P. Beck of Orchard Park, N. Y.), Charles H., Allen J., William N., Elmer B. and Milton S. Mr. Hart's father, Henry, was born in England in 1823. In 1845 he married Mary A. Burgess and came to America, locating in Buffalo; they had nine children: Burgess, Susan E., Elizabeth, Henry, Allen, Mary E., Godfrey G., Minnie and Alice S. Mr. Hart died March 8, 1888, and his wife on March 1, 1888. Mrs. Hart's father. Charles Treeby, was born in Switzerland, in 1832. He married Elizabeth Senn of his native place, and they had eight children: Elizabeth, Anna K., Mary, Emma, Nicholas, Charles, Louise and Carrie. Mr. and Mrs. Treeby are both living at this date, 1897.
