Dooley, Edward M., M. D., Buffalo, was born in Meriden, Conn., August 25, 1860. Passing through the excellent
educational training given by the public schools of that city, he entered St. John's College at Fordham, and completed
his classical education at Niagara Universty, where he entered the medical department and in 1890 received the
degree of M. D. After graduation he received the appointment of resident surgeon to the Buffalo Hospital of the
Sisters of Charity. The following year he established his present practice on Louisiana street He is associate
professor of anatomy in the medical department of Niagara University, and surgeon of the Erie, the W. N. Y. &
P., and the Nickel Plate Railroads. Dr. Dooley is a member of the Buffalo Academy of Medicine, the American Academy
of Railway Surgeons of Chicago, and the Association of Erie Railway Surgeons, and is secretary of the Association
of W. N. Y. & P. Railway Surgeons.
