Darrow, Louise M., East Hamburg, p. o. Orchard Park.-The late Henry P. Darrow, East Hamburg, was born in Connecticut
in 1808. His parents moved to Oswego county when he was a boy, where he was educated in the public schools. He
came to Buffalo with his brother Noyes when a very young man and became proprietor of the Darrow Elevator. He was
also in company with C. E. Bristol in the forwarding and commission business; they also had a fleet of vessels
on the lake. He married Josephine Stacy of Buffalo, and they had one daughter, Louise M., who married O. H. P.
Champlin. Mr. Darrow died August 2, 1852, and his widow August 23, 1895. Mrs. Darrow's grandfather, John Stacy,
was a soldier in the war of 1812 on the frontier.
