Biography of Oscar S. Cramer


Cramer, Oscar S., Tonawanda.-Among the prominent younger members of the Erie county bar, none is more promising than Oscar S. Cramer. He was born in Tonawanda, N. Y., August 23, 1874, and educated in the public schools and the Normal School at Buffalo, from which he was graduated in the class of 1893. He then began the study of law at the Buffalo Law School and was admitted to the bar in June, 1896; he immediately began the practice of his profession at Tonawanda and has since been continuously engaged. In the spring of 1897 he was elected justice of the peace by the Republicans by a large majority.
