Biography of William Tubbs

Tubbs, William, born in Ridgebury, Bradford County, Pa., March 2, 1865, was educated in the public schools, and took a course of business instruction in a commercial college. In October, 1887 he began business life as a clerk for the Delaware, Lackawanna, and Western Railroad Company, and was promoted chief clerk on August 1, 1891. He married, September 1, 1891, Minnie Wallace, of Elmira. His father was born in the town of Elmira in 1826, and married Matilda Kerriek, of Ridgebury, Pa. They had four children: Alta, Andrew, Charley, and William.
