FRANKLIN H. NEUBERGER - The large and successful business in real estate and insurance lines carried on by Franklin
H. Neuberger, of Endicott, New York, is sufficient warrant of business acumen and executive ability. Although Mr.
Neuberger has been located in Endicott for only four years, he has, during this time, succeeded in winning the
esteem and confidence of his contemporaries and associates in both business and private life. He was born December
25, 1880, in Sullivan county, New York, son of Franklin and Georgia N. (Hust) Neuberger. His father is a mason
Franklin H. Neuberger was favored with an excellent education; he completed the grammar school and high school
in his native town of Jeffersonville, New York, and completed his formal education at Drew Seminary in Madison,
New Jersey. Subsequently he was an instructor in public schools for a few years. Later he made a study of the business
in which he is now engaged and in due course of time engaged in practice on his own account. At one time he admitted
a partner, whose interest he later purchased, and has since been alone.
Mr. Neuberger is identified with the State Bank of Endicott and the Security Mutual Life Insurance Company of Binghamton.
In politics he is a Republican, and is affiliated with the Loyal Order of Moose of Endicott, Lodge No. 1065.
On June 9, 1909, in Honesdale, Pennsylvania, Franklin H. Neuberger married Josephine C. Dittrich, born January
21, 1880, daughter of Ferdinand and Dorothy (Guther) Dittrich, and they are the parents of two daughters: Dorothy
E., born July 15, 1910; and Frances A., born May 28, 1914. The family attend the Presbyterian church.
