Brown, Parley M., p. o. Whitney's Point, born in Barker in 1843; wife, Charlotte J. Fuller, daughter of Orlando
and Sally (Shipman) Fuller, born in Barker in 1840, married in 1866, one child, La Forest F., born in 1879. Parents,
David and Mariam (Kenyon) Brown, the former born in Connecticut in 1794, the latter in 1830, children six, four
now living. David's first wife, Eliza (Sullivan) Brown, died leaving four children, of which Captain Robert Brown,
of Binghamton is one. Parley M. enlisted in 1861, in Company F, 89th Regiment N. Y. Volunteers, was wounded and
discharged and reenlisted in 14th N. Y. Artillery, was wounded again and discharged and now receives a pension.
