John H. Delaney, both April 30th, 1857, is a native of Ireland. Came with his parents to this country while
yet a babe. Settled In New Auburn, Sibley county, Minnesota, and afterward moved to Henderson. Here John finished
his education at the high schooL Came to Burnsvile in 1876, and for three years was employed as clerk in the well
known store of J. Berrisford. In 1879 he married Miss Lizzie, daughter of the late Thomas Hogan, of Burnsvffle,
They have one daughter, Ann. Since his marriage, Mr. Delaney has managed the Hogan estate, which comprises two
hundred and forty acres. Was elected town clerk in 1880, and re-elected in 1881.
