ZINDLER, Alexander J., wholesale coal and coke; born, Detroit, May 24, 1886; son of Vincent and Mary. (Assessor) Zindler; educated Detroit High School; St. Joseph's Commercial College; unmarried. Began active career as bookkeeper Goobel Brewing Co., 1903, continuing for 2 years; then with Brenner Coal Co., for 5 years; with Jules G. Hoffman, wholesale coal and coke, 1910-11; firm succeeded by J. W. Dyketra & Co., Mar., 1911; since secretary and treasurer same. Catholic. Member Knights of Columbus. Club: Detroit Yacht. Recreations: music, traveling, boating. Office: 917-918 Hammond Bldg. Residence: 1245 Townsend Ave.
