Began active career as a bellboy at Campbell House, Bay City, Mich., 1889, continuing until 1891; night clerk, Grayling House, Grayling, Mich., 1891-92; day clerk Grand Central Hotel, Cheboygan, Mich., 1892-94; chief clerk Park Hotel, then manager, 1894-97; chief clerk Griswold Hotel, Detroit, 1897-1900; manager Oriental Hotel, Detroit, 1900-7; manager Graud~ Hotel, Indianapolis, 1907-8; proprietor and manager Brunswick Hotel, Detroit, 1908-10; manager Claypool Hotel, Indianapolis, 1910-12; since manager Hotel Cadillac, Detroit. Member Detroit Hotel Association. Protestant. 32° Mason, Shriner. Recreation: walking. Office and Residence: Hotel Cadillac.
