YOUNG, George Angustus, manufacturer; born, Windsor, Can., May 10, 1866; son of Charles Q. and Martha (Noll) Young; educated in public and high schools, Windsor; married Isabel Campbell, of Detroit, June 10, 1899. Learned sheet metal and brass worker's trade under father in Windsor; foreman Detroit Sheet Metal & Brass Works (now Detroit Shipbuilding Co.), 1888-96; engaged with brother, 1896, as Young Bros. Co., manufacturers of special copper and sheet iron work, of which he is secretary, treasurer and manager. Republican. Methodist. Member Detroit Board of Conunerce, Employers' Association. Mason. Clubs: Fellowcraft, Detroit Athletic, Wolverine Automobile. Reereations: automobiling, fishing. Office: 313 Franklin St. Residence: 115 Edison Ave.
