VAN DUSEN, Frank R.; born, A1pena, Mich., Feb. 25, 1875; son of Jacob and Mary A. (Empey) Van Dusen; educated in Bay City (Mich.) High School and University of Michigan; married at Bay City, 1900, Florence Carter Church. Began active career in office of National Protective Society, Bay City, and became bookkeeper and later superintendent of agencies and treasurer of the company, 1900; came to Detroit, 1901; treasurer and superintendent of agencies from reorganiza. tion, 1901, under title of National Casualty Co. of Detroit, until 1910; now president of Providence (R. I.) Base Ball Club. Democrat. Member B. P. O. E. Clubs: Detroit Boat, Detroit Golf. Recreation: golf. Office: 4th floor Majestic Bldg. Residence: 117 Kirby Ave. E.
