VAN DE MARK, Stewart Orson, lawyer; born, Clinton, Mich., Oct. 22, 1860; son of Orson and Laura G. (Brooks) Van De Mark; educated in public schools of Clinton, in high school, Tecumseh, Mich., and in University of Michigan, Literary Department, 1879-82; married, at Detroit, 1897, Catherine Egan (died, July 26, 1909); married, 2d, Oct. 18, 1913, Mrs. Hugh Lyons, of Lansing, Mich. Studied law in office of Brennan & Donnelly, 1885.87; practiced alone, 1888-91; member law firm of Brennan, Donnelly & Van De Mark, 1891-1913. Member Association Bar City of Detroit, Michigan State Bar Association. Member Detroit Light infantry, 1895-96. Democrat. Member B. P. O. E, Knights of Pythias. Club: Detroit Yacht. Recreations: outdoor sports. Residence: 158 Brainard St.
