in office of Michigan Car Co., 1878; served as clerk for Senate committee during session of State legislature,
1881, and was in office of controller for City of Detroit, 1883-86; engaged in manufacturing business since 1887.
Treasurer and manager Michigan Wire Cloth Co., manufacturers of wire cloth; president and treasurer National Telephone
Equipment Co.; vice president, secretary and treasurer Michigan Wire and Iron Works. Member Detroit Board of Commerce.
Served 5 years in Detroit City Greys (militia). Republican. Clubs: Detroit, Detroit Athletic, Automobile, Lake
St. Clair Fishing and Shooting Club, Audubon, and Country Club. Recreations: hunting, fishing, yachting, automobiling.
