NUTTEN, Wesley L., lawyer; born, Moscow, Mich., Apr. 6, 1869; son of John B. and Marie A. (Crane) Nutten; educated in Hillsdale (Mich.) College, 3 years, 1889-91, and University of Michigan 1 year, 1891-92; married at Sturgis, Mich., Dec. 25, 1895, May Van Vleck; children: Clyde V., Wesley L., Jr., Ada B. Studied law and was admitted to practice upon examination before Supreme Court of Michigan, June 15, 1895; has since practiced in Detroit; was associated for 6 years with Hon. John W. McGrath, ex justice of the Supreme Court of Michigan; was member of law firm of Nutten & Richter, May 1, 1907-9, since practiced alone. Member Association Bar City of Detroit. Independent in politics. Universalist. Member Palestine Lodge No. 357, F. & A. M., also Chapter. Recreation: outdoor athletic sports. Devotes much leisure time to civic improvement matters. Office: 1214 Penobscot Bldg. Residence: 121 Englewood Ave.
