Manager mantel and tile department of The A. Teachout Co., Cleveland, O., 1900-6; sales manager Fox Bros. & Co., Ltd., Windsor, Can., 1906-9; joined sales force of Fox Bros. & Co., Detroit, 1909, vice president since Nov., 1911; also vice president Herbert Manufacturing Co.; member Kelsey Wheel Co., and sinee Feb., 1913, president E. B. Newton Auto Co. Progressive. Member Church of Christ. Clubs: Detroit Athletic, Bloomfleld Hills Country. Recreations: automobiling, fishing, hunting.
