NEAL, William Charles, manufacturers' agent; born, Greenfield Township, Mich., June 27, 1870; son of Henry and Mary Ann (Proctor) Neal; both natives of England; educated Detroit public schools; district school of Huron County, Mich.; business college; married, Sept. 19, 1893, Jessie May Jones, of Cairo, Ill., children: Allan W. and Helen Lester. Entered employ of The Acme White Lead & Color Works, Sept., 1885, and was connected with the company until Dec. 31, 1912; spent 4 years in various departments of the factory, the remainder of the time as a salesman on the road; opened office in Detroit, Jan., 1907, as manufacturers' agent of automobile accessories under firm name of W. C. Neal & Co. Member Detroit Board of Commerce. Independent in politics. Protestant. Club: Wolverine Automobile. Recreations: country life, gardening, motor boating. Office: 607 Sun Bldg. Residence: 63 Caufield Ave. W.
