Y.; married, Aug. 28, 1872, Sarah Carman, of New York; children: Emily S., Mary F., Henrietta (Mrs. Fritz Goebel), Jarvis S., Jr., Charles H., Raymond C., Frank C. H. In merchant tailoring business in Detroit since 1871. President Traverse Point Association (summer resort). Member Detroit Board of Commerce. Democrat. Universalist. Clubs: Fellowcraft, Detroit Athletic. Recreation: billiards. Office: 101 W. Fort St. Residence: 57 Garfield Ave.
