Y., 1875; Detroit Medical College, M.D., 1879; married, Ann Arbor, Mich., Aar. 6, 1884, Helen Louise Felch; 1 son, Alpheus F. Has practiced in Detroit since 1880; professor practice of medicine Detroit College of Medicine since 1897; attending physician Harper Hospital (chairman medical board); president Detroit Clinical Laboratory since 1901; first lieutenant U. S. A. Medical Reserve Corps. Member Wayne Co. and Michigan State Medical societies, Detroit Academy of Medicine, American Medical Association, American Climatological Association, American Pediatric Society (president, 1904), Detroit Board of Commerce. Republican. Member Sons of American Revolution. Clubs: Detroit, Yondotega, Country, St. Clair Flats, Detroit Boat, Witenageniote. Recreations: yachting, hunting and fishing.
