JENKS, Nathan, physician; born, Detroit, June 3, 1872; son of Edward Watrous and Sarah Reed (Joy) Jenks; educated in public schools of Detroit; B.S., Dartmouth College, 1896; M.D., Medical Department Cornell University, New York City, 1899; married at Detroit, Oct. 8, 1902, Elizabeth C. Cady; 1 daughter, Sarah Elizabeth. Member house staff Bellevue Hospital, New York, 1899-1900; has practiced in Detroit since 1900; adjunct professor obstetrics and clinical midwifery, Detroit College of Medicine; visiting obstetrician, Women's and Providence hospitals. Member Wayne County and Michigan State Medical societies, American Medical Association, American Association of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Clubs: University, Detroit, Detroit Boat.
