JAKE, Frank Ferdinand; born, Detroit, Apr. 13, 1879; son of Ferdinand and Amelia (Schneider) Jakel; educated in public schools, Detroit; unmarried. Began active career with the Detroit Machine Valve Works and learned machinist's trade; traveled and worked at trade in New York, Buffalo, and other cities; came to Detroit from Plymouth, Mich., 1906, and associated with K R. Stoddard, 1909, in organizing the Stoddard Jakel Machine & Tool Co., with which has since been identified. Recreations: autoinobiling, fishing. Office: 80-82 Jefferson Ave. Residence: 290 Randolph Street.
