INGLIS, James, manufacture; born, Detroit, Aug. 15, 1864; son of Richard and Agnes (Lambie) Inglis; educated in Detroit public and high schools; married at Fort Wayne, Ind., Oct. 20, 1903, Elizabeth Hughes; 2 children: Elizabeth Agnes, James Hughes. Began in manufacturing business in Detroit, 1887; president and general manager American Blower Co., manufacturers of heating, ventilating, drying and mechanical draft apparatus; also president Canadian Alkali Co., Canadian Sirocco Co., both of Windsor, Ont.; director National Bank of Commerce, Michigan Savings Bank, Detroit. Member Detroit Board of Commerce (president, 1906). Republican. Presbyterian. Clubs: Detroit Athletic, Detroit, Detroit Boat, Country. Office: American Blower Co., 1400 Russell St. Residence: 626 East Grand Boul.
