CLUNIS, George W., undertaker; born, Gratiot County, Mich., Mar. 14, 1874; son of Thomas and Mary J. (Johnson) Clunis; educated in public schools, Aylmer, Ont.; married, Sept. 17, 1902, Mary F. Taylor, of Elkton, Mich.; 3 children: William, Sadie, Wilbert. Removed to Detroit, 1898, from Bad Axe, Mich.; associated with P. Blake Sons, undertakers, 1899-1910; admitted as member of firm of Dick & Findlater, Apr., 1910, at which time firm name was changed to Dick & Clunis; now solo proprietor of the business. Episcopalian. Royal Arch Mason; member I. O. O. F, Rebeceas, Order of Eastern Star, Moose. Recreation: fishing. Office and Residence: 20 High St. E.
