CLIPPERT, William, brick manufacturer; born, Detroit, Apr. 19, 1874; son of Conrad and Christine F. (Pfeifle) Cippert; educated in public schools, Detroit; graduated Detroit Business University, 1892; unmarried. Began active career, 1892, as bookkeeper for the American Brewing Co., continuing until 1903; secretary and treasurer The Arna Mills, Dearborn, Mich., 1903-10 (mills destroyed by fire June 23, 1912, and corporation dissolved); in brick manufacturing business since 1910. Member Detroit Board of Commerce, National Brick Makers' Association. Republican. Episcopalian. Member Harmonie Society. Clubs: Detroit Athletic, Detroit Yacht. Recreations: automobiling, boating, yachting. Office and Works: Springwells, Mich. Residence: 1950 Michigan Ave.
