CLELAND, James, Jr., physician; born, Glasgow, Scotland, Dec. 17, 1863; son of Dr. James (dentist) and Jane (Inglis) Cleland; educated in public schools, Detroit, Detroit High School, graduating 1880; M.D., Detroit College of Medicine, 1884; post graduate course, Columbia University, New York, 1907; course in internal medicine at Edinburgh, Scotland; married, July 31, 1909, Anna Seibert, of Detroit. Associated in practice with uncle, the late Dr. Henry A. Cleland, 1885-96, since practiced alone. Episcopalian. Member Detroit Board of Commerce, American Medical Association, Michigan State and Wayne County Medical societies. Mason. Omcc: 316 Washington Arcade. Residence: 1042 2nd Avenue.
