CLARK, Rufus Wheelwright, importer and manufacturer of dye stuffs and chemicals; born, Columbus, O., Dec. 20, 1876; son of Rufus Wheelwright and Lucy G. (Dennison) Clark; educated Detroit public schools; University of Michigan, class of 1900; married, Apr. 20, 1908, Bertha H. Holt, of Burlington, N. C.; 1 child, Rufus W., Jr. Began active career with Theodore H. Eaton & Son, 1899, and became partner, 1906; after death of Mr. Eaton, 1911, the firm incorporated as the Eaton Clark Co., of which has since been president. Episcopalian. Member Detroit Board of Commerce. Clubs: Detroit Boat, University, Country. Recreation: outdoor sports. Office: 28 Woodward Ave. Residence: 154 Van Dyke Ave.
