Y., Sept. 2, 1864; son of Richard P. and Maria (Charles) Clark; A.B., Amherst College, 1886; graduate Union Theological Seminary, New York, 1889; married Feb. 16, 1892, Irene Woodbridge, of Brooklyn, N. Y.; 1 son, David Cartwright. Ordained Presbyterian ministry, 1889; pastor Pilgrim Chapel, Brooklyn, N Y., 1890-92, Lee Ave. Congregational Church, Brooklyn, 1892-98, Westminster Presbyterian Church, Detroit, since Oct. 18, 1898, and has become one of the foremost preachers in the Country. Recreations: literature and travel. Study: Westminster Presbyterian Church. Residence: 1014 Case Ave. Summer Home; Middlefield, Mass.
