Tyler and Amelia (Sprague) Chilson; public school education; married, Sept. 16, 1897, Louise E. Hammond, of South Lyon, Oakland Co., Mich.; two sons: Clinton H., Howard C. Learned printer's trade at Williamstown, Mich., then became newspaper reporter, Lansing State Republican; later served as city editor eight years, and managing editor six years; secretary Lansing Business Men's Association, 3 years; manager Detroit branch Jackson Automobile Co. since Aug. 1, 1911. Secretary Michigan State Senate since 1903. Republican. Mason; member Odd Fellows, B. P. O. Elks. Club: Wolverine Automobile. Recreations: baseball, fishing, hunting. Office: 978 Woodward Ave. Residence: 241 Chandler Ave.
