Dallas, Tex., 1897, Detroit, 1900; became interested in coal mining property in Ohio which led to organization
of firm of Ayres & Chase, of which was a member until Mar. 1, 1913; sinCe secretary Jewett, Bigelow & Brooks,
wholesale coal; also secretary, Bosserdet Yacht & Engine Co., Detroit. Member Michigan, Indiana and Ohio Coal
Association, Cleveland Coal Club, Ontario (Can.) Coal Association. Christian Scientist. Member Palestine Blue Lodge,
F. & A. M., Michigan Sovereign Con sistory, Moslem Temple, Mystic Shrine. Clubs: Detroit Athletic, Detroit
