CARTWRIGHT, Charles E., coal; born, Toledo, O., May 17, 1877; son of Isaiah D. and Ida M. (Dickinson) Cartwright; educated in Toledo High School and University of Michigan, 1899; unmarried. Entered real estate business at Toledo, 1899; became identified with coal business, 1901, in connection with A. G. Blair & Co., Toledo; came to Detroit, June, 1904; since general sales agent and secretary Youghiogheny Gas Coal Co., miners and shippers of coal. Presbyterian. Member Masonic order, Knights Templar, Shrine. Clubs: Pellowcraft, Detroit Boat, Thousand Islands Yacht, Toledo Tennis. Recreations: tennis, boating and general outdoor sports. Office: 1738 Dime Savings Bank Bldg. Residence: 18 Euclid Ave. W.
