Campbell; educated in public schools; married at Bancroft, Nov. 28, 1889, Abbie B. Phillips; five children: Robert,
Grosvenor, Bruster, Phillips, Helen. Began active career as clerk in general store at Pinckney, Mich., 1878; clerk
in general store in Howell, Mich., 1881-82; came to Detroit in 1882 and became associated with Buruham, Stoepel
& Co.; was director of company 1902-11; since vice president Conunercial Milling Co.; also director Detroit
Showcase Co., Detroit Terminal Storage Co. Member Detroit Board of Commerce. Recreation: outdoor athletic sports.
