CAMPBELL, Charles Hotchkiss, lawyer; born, Detroit, July 18, 1858; son of James Valentine and Corneia (Hotchkiss) Campbell; educated in Detroit public and high schools; Ph.B., University of Michigan, 1880; umnarried. Studied law in office of Alfred Russell, 1880-83; admitted to Michigan bar, 1883; became member of firm of Russel & Campbell, 1886; title changed to Russel, Campbell & Bulkley, 1905-7; Russel, Campbell, Bulkley & Ledyard, 1907-12; Campbell, Bulkley & Ledyard, since 1912; secretary Woodlawn Cemetery; treasurer and director River Rouge Improvement Co., Home Construction Co. Reserve member Detroit Naval Reserves. Republican. Episcopalian. Member American, Michigan and Detroit Bar associations, Delta Kappa Epsilon. Clubs: Detroit, Yondotega, University, Detroit Boat, Country. Recreations.: travel, walking. Office: Union Trust Bldg. Residence: Pasadena Apts.
