CAMPBELL, Allan, lawyer; born, Detroit, Oct. 12, 1876; son of Walter Scott and Annie (Fenton) Campbell; graduate Detroit High School, Jan. 1894; University of Michigan, degree of A.B., 1898; Detroit College of Law, degree of LL.B., 1901; married, Nov. 20, 1908, Elizabeth Barton Pitman. Taught four and one half years in Detroit public schools after graduating from university; began practice of law with Maybury, Lucking, Emmons & Helfman, Jan. 1904; practiced alone Oct., 1905-Jan. 1, 1908, since in partnership with Fred G. Dewey, as Campbell & Dewey. Member Sons American Revolution, St. Andrew's Society, Phi Beta Kappa. Clubs: University, Lawyers', Detroit Tennis, Detroit Boat. Recreation: tennis.
