BUTLER, Henry Louis, coal merchant; born, Norwich Township, Huron Co., Ohio, Aug. 16, 1877; son of Louis and Emma (Wiesler) Budelier; name changed from Budelier to Butler upon petition to Probate Court, Oct. 10, 1905; educated St. Mary's parochial school, Toledo, O.; unmarried. Began in coal business, June, 1892, as clerk for J. T. Sinclair, Detroit; in business on own account since May, 1907; member firm of Turner & Butler. Republican. Roman Catholic. Member Board of Commerce. Member Knights of St. John, Detroit Assembly of Order of the Amaranth. Recreation: baseball. Office: 500 Monroe Ave. Residence: 362 Parker Ave.
