Entered employ Michigan Carbon Works, 1886; went to Chicago, 1901, as manager Northwestern Fertilizing Co.; returned to Detroit 1907 to become manager The American Agricultural Chemical Co., Michigan Carbon Works; also vice president Max Strasburg Co., Detroit; secretary, treasurer and director, Northwestern Fertilizing Co., Chicago; president and treasurer The Packers' Fertilizer Association, Chicago; director National Association Glue and Gelatin Manufacturers, New York. Republican. Presbyterian. Clubs: Detroit Golf, Detroit Athletic. Recreations: golf, automobiling. Office and factory: cor. Forman and Carbon Ayes. Residence: 31 Holbrook Ave.
