BURKHARDT, Henry Wallace, vice president E. B. Gallagher & Co.; born, Hancock, Mich, June 25, 1866; son of Christian and Louisa (Hintz) Burkhardt; educated public schools of Hancock; married, Oct., 16, 1895, Amelia Fluemer, of Mount Clemens, Mich. (deceased); one son, Donald P.; married, second, 1900, Addie T. Tubbs, of Detroit. Began active career as a barber in Red Jacket, Mich.; then engaged in laundry business at Mt. Clemens; next in candy business at Marine City; came to Detroit from Maxine City, 1905, and since Apr. 1 of same year has been vice president and manager E. B. Gallagher & Co., wholesale dealers in supplies and raw materials for bakers, confectioners and ice cream makers. Independent in politics. Lutheran. Member United Commercial Travelers. Recreations: baseball and fishing. Office: 116-118 Jefferson Ave. Residence: 818 Parker Ave.
