Cashier on boats of Detroit & Cleveland Navigation Co., three years; then traveling salesman, Peninsular Stove Co., two years; salesman Kalamazoo Stove Co., one year; practical experience as assistant County undertaker at the morgue, six months; in undertaking business for self since 1907; also vice president American Air Compressor Co.
