BROWN, William Bennett, florist; born, Detroit, Dec. 12, 1873; son of Robert and Elizabeth (Flood) Brown; educated Detroit public schools; married, Apr. 16, 1903, Mrs. Augusta Martner, of Detroit; three children: Bennett, William and Catherine. Began active career with the Detroit Floral Co., 1893, continuing for ten years; engaged in florist business on own account, 1903; and has since conducted same in own name. Independent in politics. Episcopalian. Member Detroit Board of Commerce, Detroit Florist Club. 32° Mason, Shriner (Moslem Temple); member Odd Fellows, Knights of Pythias. Club: Detroit Wheelmen. Recreation: chicken raising. Office: 308 Woodward Ave. Residence: Birmingham, Michigan.
