BROSSY, Francis E., president L. C. Brossy Dyeing Co.; born, Detroit, Oct. 9, 1869; son of Louis C. and Louise (Guilloz) Brossy; educated in German American Seminary and public schools, Detroit, and at Detroit Business University; married at Detroit, Feb. 4, 1895, Carolyn Eceleshall Gray; three children: Louis, Frederick, Francis. Began active career as apprentice in father's dyeing and cleaning establishment (L. C. Brossy), 1887; firm incorporated as L. C. Brossy Dyeing Co., 1891, of which was made secretary and treasurer, becoming president upon death of his father, 1893, and still continues in that office. Clubs: Detroit, Detroit Athletic, Old Club, Rotary, Detroit Motor Boat, Bankers'. Recreations: boating and fishing. Office: 986 Woodward Ave. Residence: 197 Burns Ave.
