BROOKS, Clark D., surgeon; born, Southfield, Oakland Co., Mich., Aug. 10, 1878; son of John C. and Martha J. (Logan) Brooks; graduated Birmingham High School, Detroit, 1900; M.D., Detroit College of Medicine, 1905; married, Nov. 20, 1908, Sallie H. Wier, of Annapolis, Md. Practiced in Detroit since 1905; junior surgeon Harper Hospital, and Chilthen's Free Hospital; assistant demonstrator of anatomy, Detroit College of Medicine. Lieutenant Reserve Corps, U. S. A. Republican. Presbyterian. Member Michigan State Medical Society (secretary surgical section, 1909-10), Wayne County Medical Society (secretary surgical section, 1911-12). Club: Fellowcraft. Recreation: automobiling. Office: 308 Washington Arcade. Residence: 160 Alexandrine Ave. W.
