BROMLEY, Frank L., president Detroit Stoker Co. and Detroit Foundry Co.; born, Detroit, Jan. 1, 1866; son of William and Caroline Frances (Latham) Bromley; high school education, Detroit; married at Detroit, May 2, 1900, Kate Agnes Thompson; three children: Frances L., Katharine, Walter T. Began active career in employ of Michigan Stove Co., Detroit, 1884, continuing until 1902; started the Detroit Foundry & Manufacturing Co., 1902; name changed later to Detroit Stoker & Foundry Co., of which was president and treasurer until Jan. 1, 1913; firm name then changed to the Detroit Stoker Co., of which he is president. Also president and treasurer Detroit Foundry Co.; one of the organizers, 1909, of the American Motor Castings Co., and since president and treasurer; director Detroit Gear & Machine Co. Member Detroit Board of Commerce. Veteran active member Detroit Naval Reserves. Republican. Baptist. Member Ashlar Lodge No. 91, F. & A. M.; Peninsular Chapter No. 16, R. A. M. Clubs: Detroit, Detroit Boat, Detroit Boat Club Yachtsmen. Office: Fordyce and Marston Sts. Residence: "Cross Ways," Birmingham, Mich.
