BRENNAN, Charles Henry, automobile manufacturer; born, Detroit, Oct. 15, 1877; son of Joseph Eugene and Annie Margarette (Williams) Brennan; educated in public schools, Detroit; student Association College, Chicago, graduating Commercial Department, 1903, Technical Course, 1905; married, Apr. 16, 1912, Grace June Jones, daughter of Rev. Frank J. Jones, of Philadelphia. Served apprenticeship Packard Motor Car Co., 1905; purchasing agent, Blomstrom Motor Car Co., 1906, Dragon Automobile Co., 1907; special representative Thomas Detroit Motor Car Co., 1908, Chalmers Motor Car Co., 1909, Hudson Motor Car Co., 1910; general manager Rotary Valve Motor Car Co., 1911; director of purchases, Hupp Motor Car Co., since June, 1911. Widely known in manufacturing world and an authority on manufacturing and purchasing in the auto industry. Member Detroit Board of Commerce. Member Electric Vehicle Association of America, Society of Cadillacque. Baptist. Member Palestine Lodge No. 357, P. & A. M.; King Cyrus Chapter No. 133; Detroit Commandery No. 1, Knights Templar; Moslem Temple, A. A. O. N. M. S., all of Detroit.
