BRANKIN, Edward, manager American Linseed Co. of Michigan; born, Montreal, Can., Sept. 273 1858; son of James and Alice J. (Tuffts) Brankin; educated at St. Lawrence College, Montreal; local branch University of Notre Dame, Ind.; married, June 1, 1903, PriscilIa E. Neion, of Philadelphia; two children (both deceased). Worked in father's bakery business for several years; then in employ of Canada Paint Co. until coming to U. S. in 1891; connected with National Linseed Oil Co. at Chicago, Philadelphia and Detroit, 1892-1902; manager and treasurer American Linseed Co. of Michigan since 1904. Roman Catholic. Secretary Detroit Paint, Oil and Varnish Club since 1907 (president, 1904). Club: Detroit. Recreation: reading. Office: 911 Majestic Bldg. Residence: 329 John R Street.
