BRADFORD, James, coal and coke; born, Detroit, July 15, 1857; son of John and Ann (Brennan) Bradford; educated in public schools, Detroit; married, 1888, Julia O'Neill, of Detroit; three children: Florence, Neil, Margaret. Farmed in Huron Township, Wayne County, for six years; then successively with the Capital Lumber Co., Lansing, Mich.; W. A. C. Miller, lumber, Detroit, and the W. C. Restrick Lumber Co.; entered coal business on own account, 1890; now president and manager Cadillac Coal & Coke Co. Member Milwaukee Junction Manufacturers' Association, Northwestern Business Men's Association. Member K. O. T. M., National Union, St. Andrews Society. Office: 1619 Russell St. and Wellington Ave. and G. T. R. R. Residence: 245 Smith Ave.
