(Johnson) Bowling; educated in Detroit publie schools and Detroit Business College; married, July 18, 1890, Jennie T. Shelden, of Houghton, Mich.; two children: Dorothy S., G. Curtis. Resident of Detroit since 1876; first assistant bookkeeper, Commercial National Bank, 1884-88; in railroad ticket offices at Columbus, O., and Buffalo, N. Y., 1888-90; with Ypsilanti Dress Stay Co., Ypsilanti, Mich., 1890; proprietor Ever Ready Dress Stay Co., Windsor, Ont., 1890-1902; then president of C. B. Hutchings & Sons, car roofers, Detroit, 1902-8; commission broker, rubber goods, until Jan. 1, 1913; since resident manager Revere Rubber Co., of Chelsea, Mass. Republican. Universalist. Member Detroit Board. of Commerce. Clubs: Automobile, Rushmere, Detroit Athletic. Recreations: yachting, hunting. Office: 712-714 Majestic Bldg. Residence: 1105 Cass Ave.
