BORGMAN, Martin G., real estate; born, Detroit, May 18, 1863; son of Charles H. and Pauline (Perlier) Borgman; educated in public schools and German American Seminary, Detroit; married, Mar. 14, 1889, Nellie Harvey, of Romeo, Mich; two children: Albert S. and Frances. For a number of years engaged in lake transportation; traffic manager Crescent Transportation Co., 1890-95; principal occupation since 1895, dealing in real estate. Treasurer Wabash Portland Cement Co., 1900-4; secretary and treasurer Quincy Gas Electric & Heating Co., 1904-11; director, secretary and treasurer, Precision Instrument Co.; secretary Parkhill Realty Co.; president Canadian Alkali Co., Ltd., of Sandwich, Ont. Served as captain Co. F, 4th Regt., Michigan National Guard, 1886-93; major, 1893-95. Republican. Episcopalian. Member Detroit Board of Commerce. Mason. Clubs: Detroit, Detroit Boat. Recreations: motoring and outdoor sports. Office: 1820 Ford Bldg. Residence: 295 Seminole Ave.
